News & Events
July 23: For those of you in the Cleveland, OH area, the book is
now available at Liberty Books and News at Beachcliff Market
Square, 19332 Detroit Rd., Rocky River, OH  44116,
216-458-5860. It's a beautiful, big independent bookstore, and
manager Frank is such a nice man. I would urge you to go if you
haven't been there. They have the largest selection of magazines I
have ever seen anywhere, and they discount all in-stock books
20%--and they deserve a plug.

Sept. 5:
Deadly Crossings is now available through the Nothing
Binding website that has just officially launched. It is a consortium of
independent authors, numbering 500 and growing. I would urge you to
visit and help change the face of publishing.

Sept. 16: Thank you to all of you who came out for the
signing/reading party at Local Girl Gallery. I hope you all enjoyed
yourselves as much as I did. What a great group with great questions!
You deserve a big round of applause, as does Linda Goik, who did
SUCH a wonderful job of hosting the party and gave of herself so
unstintingly to make it a success. People, go shop there--I sure did!
Again, Linda's mission is to promote the work of local women artists,
and the gallery has something for everyone.
Local Girl Gallery, 16106 Detroit Ave., Lakewood, OH 44107

Deadly Crossings is now safely on the shelf at Borders Westlake.
My heartfelt thanks to Marty Grasso for getting it there.

October 19: Yes, I made it to Nashville and back in one piece! The
weather was lovely, and I got to meet some of my southern Sisters in
Crime, who were all so gracious.

Upcoming signings/events:

Wednesday, December 19th: Local author Carole Calladine
(
Second Story Woman: A Memoir of Second Chances, Bird Dog
Publishing) has graciously invited me on behalf of the Rocky River
Senior Writers' Group to be the guest speaker for their December
meeting at the Rocky River Senior Center. I look forward to making
new friends.

Saturday, January 19th: Another fun venue planned. Join me for a
presentation/signing at the Encore Shoppe on Liberty Ave. in
downtown Vermilion, 2-5 p.m. Owner Char will be providing tea and
chocolates from local merchants. Ladies, wear hats--the redder, the
better!
